Adoption Information
At PAWS of Coronado we believe that pets and people should be a perfect match. Adopting a furry member into your family is an important decision and we want what is best for the animals and for you.
The dogs and cats at the Coronado ACF are extremely social due in large part to the tender loving care of the ACF staff and PAWS volunteers. This includes a dog walking program, a cat petting program and a cat stroller program.
Because we have such hands on experience with the animals, we can help you find the best match for you and your living situation.

Adoption Interview
Cat and dog adoption counselors will review your application and will help to decide if the animal you are interested in is a good match for your lifestyle and will direct you to any other pets that may be appropriate.
For cat adoptions an application and interview are all that is required. Cat adoption counselors are available from 12:00pm to 3:00pm every day the ACF is open.
For dog adoptions an application, interview and home visit are required.
