Mace a Cat for Adoption

Mace a cat for adoption

Mace is a male DSH multi-colored brown Tabby with blonde highlights around his eyes and a white chin.

Mace and his feline sibling, Alex, were relinquished when their owner, aged 99, passed away. Although the two grew up together, they do not appear to be super bonded.

Losing a parent and their home is hard for kitties, but Mace is such an easy going fellow that he quickly acclimated to life at the ACF so we know he will adapt readily to a new home.

Mace comes to greet you when you enter the room and responds with a vibrant purr to petting and attention. As you visit with him he circles you and rubs against you in a frenzy of happiness.

He is a confident and happy go lucky boy, just looking for another chance at love and security. At 9 years young, he has plenty of living left to do. Indoor cats now typically live into their late teens and early twenties.

On the ASPCA feline-ality ™ assessment, Mace comes up as a gregarious personal assistant – outgoing and attentive.

If you are not quite ready to adopt or are not in the position for a long term commitment, why not consider fostering Mace?

You can meet Mace at the at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) at 1395 First Street in Coronado. The ACF is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm – except holidays.
