Someone loved me once upon a time…
Terra came to the Coronado Animal Care Facility already spayed and microchipped. Obviously she belonged to someone but they were no where in sight when this beautiful brown tabby girl was found wandering around 5th Street and A Avenue.
We have no idea how long she was on her own. Her microchip had never been registered so there is no way to uncover what led this 4 year old brown tabby girl to our door.
Terra wasn’t too happy living at the ACF, so she is now in a foster home to give her a break from facility living and to help her gain confidence. Her foster mom has this to say about Terra:
Terra is timid with strangers at first but warms up once she builds her trust. She loves lounging in my sun room and sleeps with me at night. In a home environment, she is quite happy, content and confident.
Once Terra is comfortable she is a great cat with a lot of love to give!
Terra may not be a “turn key” cat, but she is well worth the effort once she trusts you and her environment. She will reward your patience and effort with loyalty and love.
Are you the one to give Terra a happy ending to her story?
Watch Terra enjoying a new catnip toy. It is great to see her so happy and relaxed!
