Button A Dog Adopted
Button, a gentle and petite female poodle, was adopted last weekend. Her previous family could not keep her, so she was taken in by a nice man who lives aboard a boat. They got along very well, but Button is a land lover so he brought her to the ACF. She arrived looking like a bohemian in a brown knit hat. She was also interestingly styled, with lots of fluffy hair on her front half and nearly none on her back. When her quarantine ended, a groomer at Wag’n Tails gave her a chic new look.
With her good looks and friendly demeanor, Button caught the eye of Lee Wells, one of the trainers that help out at the ACF. He told his neighbors about her and they were interested in getting acquainted with the sweet girl. Lee, the neighbors and their two dogs came to meet Button. It was a happy meeting for all.
Life is good for Button in her new home. She is called Roo now and is fitting in very well. As the groomer at Wag’n Tails noted, Roo likes men and has decided that her favorite place to nap is next to her new Dad.
Congratulations to Roo and her new family!
