Ken, Our Handsome Siamese

ken a siamese cat for adoption blue eyesKen is a two year old male Siamese cat that was found in an alley way by a fellow PAWS volunteer while she was working at a barber shop on Orange Ave. Knowing that a barber shop alley way is no place for a cat, she brought this handsome boy to the ACF.

Unknown to how Ken ended up homeless, this doesn’t stop this handsome cat from enjoying attention from all of the volunteers.

For being two, Ken is still very youthful and loves to play. He will make a game out of any little thing and his playful personality, along with his beautiful blue eyes, will make you fall in love with him the more time spend with him.

One trait that Ken does not have to the typical Siamese breed is that he is very quiet and not vocal at all. But with most Siamese traits, we believe he will need a lot of human attention, toys and stimulation to help keep him busy and out of trouble.

Ken is a sweet, handsome cat looking for a forever home. Is Ken the feline companion you have been searching for?

You can visit Ken at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF), located at 1395 First Street in Coronado, with hours of operations between 9:00 am to 4:00pm, except holidays. And if you would like to adopt Ken, you can contact the Cat Adoption Team.

O’Malley, An Easy Going Guy

omalley a torbie cat for adoption is sweetNear Star Park on Loma Avenue, O’Malley was found by a kind man and was fed by him for a short time, but the kind man knew that life on the street was no place for an orphaned cat, so he brought O’Malley to the Coronado Animal Care Facility.

O’Malley is a very easy going guy and is friendly to everyone he meets. He adores rides in our cat strollers and was even tested to walk on a leash; he is up for any kind of adventure, but is a little wary of dogs. He would also love to have a home where he can catch some rays during the day while also receiving pets and even some play time.

O’Malley is currently taking visitors at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF), located at 1395 First Street in Coronado, with hours of operations between 9:00 am to 4:00pm. And if you would like to adopt O’Malley, you can contact the Cat Adoption Team.

Baby, A Regal Queen

baby a stunning senior cat for adoptionBaby is one of our Baby Boomer Cats at the ACF. She will captivate you with her beautiful emerald green eyes and her calm demeanor.

Sadly she was relinquished by her family because she did not get along well with their two young cats and their dog.

But with our volunteers, she has shown no other signs other than how sweet she can be. Baby will come to you and say “Hello” while winding through your legs, soliciting pets.

She also longs to be near you and will jump from every cat tree in the cat community room just to be by your side.

She is getting along fine with our other cats and they seem intrigued by her wise attitude. Being that she is 10+, she has experienced a lot in her life and nothing seems to faze her.

Baby is looking for a loving home and an occasional cat treat.

In return, she will give you unconditional love and will be a great feline companion.

Come and meet Baby and be mesmerized by her beautiful green eyes!

Baby is taking visitors at the ACF, located at 1395 First Street in Coronado, with hours of operations between 9:00 am to 4:00pm. If you would like to adopt Baby, you can contact the Cat Adoption Team.

Jeeves, Ready for a Real Home

Jeeves and his Mouse

Just as Jeeves thought that he and his feline buddy, Big Boy, were living the life as greeters at the Welcome Center on base, a Naval Discharge thought it was time for them to find a loving home.

“But who will greet the people and keep the rodent population down?” asked Jeeves.

“We have staff for that.” was the reply.

So Jeeves was brought to the ACF where he awaits for someone to give him a loving home now that he has left service.

Jeeves is a little shyer than his companion, Big Boy, but it doesn’t last for long. He will greet you when you walk in the room, but he has to make sure that you are okay.

Once he gives you the “Sniff of Approval”, he will gladly show you his space and give you a tiny tour of his room, remembering his Welcome Center duties.

Jeeves is a very handsome Tuxedo cat with a sincere look in his eyes and would do best as a greeter in a quieter home.

He is waiting for a new home – is Jeeves the one for you?

You can visit Jeeves and the ACF, located at 1395 First Street in Coronado, with hours of operations between 9:00 am to 4:00pm. If you would like to adopt Jeeves, you can contact the Cat Adoption Team.

Miss Melody, Our Cat of the Week

Dreamy MelodyStranded on Antigua Village, an island in the middle of the Coronado Cays, is no place for a cat, but that is where Miss Melody was found, wandering alone on Antigua Ct. Lucky for Melody, someone saw her wandering alone and they brought her into the ACF.

With her patchwork coat groomed, she was well fed and was already sprayed, obvious signs that she once belonged to someone who cared for her.

Miss Melody is quiet, but she loves attention. With every pet, she will return the love with gentle tenderness. Even all of our volunteers are smitten with her, saying she is the sweetest cat they have ever met!

If you are looking for a very easy going cat that has a lot of love to give, then Miss Melody is the one for you!

You can visit Melody and the ACF, located at 1395 First Street in Coronado, with hours of operations between 9:00 am to 4:00pm. If you would like to adopt Melody, you can contact the Cat Adoption Team.
