Community Pets in Need

Community pets in need

Occasionally, PAWS of Coronado is approached for help in placing pets that need to be re-homed.

Under very special circumstances, these pets cannot be admitted into the ACF. These reasons include but are not limited to the ACF being full, the animal is elderly or the animal has special needs that would make it a hardship for them to come into the facility.

Please note that these are not PAWS animals or wards of the ACF, they are community pets in need of a new home. No adoption fee is collected – we offer to post these pets as a service to the families and the community.

We also assist people in finding lost pets.

You will not contact PAWS or the ACF for information about these animals. All inquiries will be directed to the current pet owner.

Finally, we occasionally have an urgent need for foster homes for some of our the cats living at the Coronado Animal Care Facility.

Please click on the community pet in need photo below to learn more about that animal.
