Nelson is a two year old, male, Australian Shepherd/Chocolate Lab variety, tan and chocolate brown in coloring.   Besides being absolutely gorgeous, he is an attentive pal.  This guy has that combination of good looks, intelligence and fun loving attitude that make him special.

Nelson is a favorite with his handlers, but does require a strong pack leader to help him feel safe when he encounters dogs he doesn’t know.  He’s learning, but there is still work to do.

This young man is happy go lucky around people, kids included.  Cats, on the other hand, distract him and put him on guard.  He may fare best as the only canine or with another dog who is very balanced and can show Nelson the way to enjoying the company of his fellow canines.
