October is Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month

PAWS currently has 12 dogs looking for their forever homes. Our dogs are the most social animals available for adoption in San Diego County. The adoption process is swift and simple – click here to check out more information on how you can adopt a dog today!
Even if you can’t adopt, there are things you can do to help.
1 – Be an advocate for adoption, and help spread the word about PAWS! Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.
2 – Sign up to be a foster parent. We are accepting application for foster homes for both dogs and cats. You will be matched to an animal that suits you, your lifestyle and experience. If interested, email the Dog Adoption Team at dogadoptions@pawsofcoronado.org, or call Karen Dwinell at 619-437-0220.
3 – Donate. There are many ways that you can contribute and every donation helps! Become a member, make a cash donation or purchase a donor plaque.
4 – Volunteer. We need your help! There are many volunteer opportunity available this fall – experienced dog walkers, a dog blogger, a scrapbooker for adoption books, and we always need an extra hand for events. Check out our website for all opportunities, more details and contact information.
