Piglet: A Dog Adopted

Piglet a Chihuahua dog for adoption

Piglet was relinquished by a woman who found her as a stray and thought she would be able to keep her. Circumstances proved otherwise and in she came. She was very timid at first. Her beautiful chocolate brown coat and her upright ears made her look more like a tiny deer than a piglet.

Piglet was not with us long. A lady came in with her friend. They had been to the San Diego Humane Society and were unable to interact with the available dogs at the time they were there. They did an internet search for the nearest shelter and up popped the Coronado ACF. They came in, spotted Piglet and asked if they could spend a little time with her. A little time was all that was needed. Piglet liked them and they liked her. An application was completed, the home visited and a couple of days later, Piglet went to her new home. When her new Mom came in she had four names picked out and wanted Piglet to choose the right one. Piglet choose Elan. She lives with another small dog and a cat.

Piglet was a no trouble kind of girl while at the shelter. She enjoyed her walks and her walkers enjoyed her. Thanks to all for her good care.
