Star has been adopted. A very nice couple stopped by the ACF looking for a companion. Star immediately caught their eye and they stopped their search right then and there. Star’s new home is in the college area. She has a beautifully manicured yard to run around in, and run around in it she does. Mom thinks she has some pointer in her since when she spots a bird, she stops, points, and takes off running.

Puppy Star has dug up one potted plant, had one little accident and has eaten only one toy. Mom said she is doing “amazingly well” and she is “adorable”. Because she is still a puppy, we suggested some rawhide bones for her to chew on. She promptly buried them! A Kong full of treats seems to keep her busy.

Mom and Dad love her smiles and she smiles a lot, especially when she rolls over for a tummy rub. Star has a new name: Freckles . She is another one of the lucky ones. She will be loved.
