Freckles is pure white, adult male kitty about 3 years old. Some how he ended up on the streets of Coronado and his life as a stray cat led him to a kindly lady who began taking care of him.

After just a couple of months his rescuer had to move to Hawaii for work and she didn’t want to put Freckles through the trauma of a six month quarantine, so she brought him to the ACF.

Being outdoors for so long, he suffered chronic sunburn to his ear tips leaving them with open sores that wouldn’t heal. The vet said the best thing for Freckles was to remove the tips of his ears where the tissue was damaged to prevent the onset of cancer. With his cropped ears, he looks a little like a Scottish Fold cat.

Freckles has had a bit of a rough road, but that hasn’t stopped him from letting his super affectionate personality shine through. He is our brave white knight, a cat who has the heart and soul of a true champion.

Everyone that meets Freckles falls for him. He is a kind, gentle cat with a big heart.  He is a boy with a lot of love to give and a calming energy that can relax you on the spot. AND Freckles is a television star!
