Meet Hailey, a beautiful Persian calico girl with a sweet and loving disposition. She is approximately 6 years old and is bonded with Comet, a cream colored Persian boy approximately 3 years old.

They are not looking their best in these photos because they were shaved to remove matted fur, but their fur is growing back in and soon they will both sport luxurious fur coats.

You see, Hailey and Comet came from a hoarding situation where they spent much of their lives living in a cage together. At least they had each other and the bond that was formed is strong and loving, so we would prefer that they be adopted together and preferably by someone who is familiar with their breed.

When they first arrived at the ACF, they were fearful of people and of open space. With the loving attention of the staff and PAWS volunteers these two have blossomed and now run to the door to greet whoever walks into their room. Even if you are just passing by, they  run to the door to implore you to come in and spend some time with them.

Hailey loves to be  held in your arms for a good snuggle and purrs up a storm as she nestles in.

She is also playful and one of her favorite things is to have the bridge of her nose and eyes rubbed.

These two have been through some tough times and are now looking for that extra special loving home where they can feel safe and cared for for the rest of their lives.
