Ali is our little sweetheart that loves to be a lap cat! She is a grey and white DSH kitten born mid July 2012 and is still young and as sweet as ever. Ali was found as a stray and was fostered shortly after to help build up her confidence around people and the new surroundings of a home environment.

Being fostered in a loving environment, this is what Ali’s foster mother had to say about her:

“Ali is a little sweetheart. She’s a bit shy at first, but will adjust to the situation. She loves playing and being cuddled, whether it’s with Foster Mom’s 8 & 5 year olds or the 2 cats that roam the house. She tolerates sniffs from the big, black Rottweiler, but her favorite spot seems to be on Foster Dad’s tummy watching (sleeping through) football or a movie. If you’re not careful, she might even steal a piece of popcorn.”

Ali’s copper rimmed eyes will captivate your attention as she gazes at you. Like looking at a piece of art, you will be left wondering how the arrangement of colors came to be.

This sweetheart of kitten will bring you joy and happiness for years to come, is she the one for you?

 Luigi is a male kitten, born early July 2012. He’s a black Tabby with so much love to give, his name came easily. At three weeks old, he was found all alone at a Pizza Parlor on the Coronado Navy Base, where he immediately entered into his foster home.  This lover boy is easy company and enjoys the companionship of other kitties who welcome him into their home. Luigi gets along with respectful dogs and his foster moms report him to be so kissable, it’s hard to put him down.

He’s a great kitty who is a perfect house guest and keeps us in stitches with his cuteness. If getting kisses from your feline friends makes you smile ear to ear, he’s the boy for the job.  Luigi is passionate about his role to make you feel loved. Our goal is to adopt him straight from his foster family to yours. His foster moms will accommodate any interest in meeting him.

With school back in session, consider adding a pet to your home to act as a Study Buddy to keep the children company while they do their homework assignments.  The stress of test taking can be greatly reduced having a furry friend to encourage one to persevere.

Rufus is our peach colored male DSH kitten and Blake is our grey male DSH kitten. Raised in foster care at an early age, they are used to being loved and cared for by humans. These little guys will purr up a storm the moment you enter the room, falling over each other to try and get petted first. Their antics will have you laughing as they chase each other while you play with them and they make the best snuggle buddies ever! Come by the ACF and see how adorable Rufus and Blake really are!

Last weekend, PAWS held their first Cat Stroller Parade. We started off at the ACF with kittens in tow and walked all the way down Orange Ave. to Speckles Park. Meowing all the way there, we got Oohs and Ahhs  that we even caught the attention of tourists and they stopped us and took our pictures, for they have never seen a cat stroller before.

Once we arrived at Speckles Park, we were a hit with all the little ones. They came up to us excited to see all of our kittens, even our sleepy heads Adella, Sophie, and Sylvester. The Cuddly Five- Starlight, Lilly, Boo, Midnight and Mojo- had a fun time in the kitten cabana playing with each other and their toys, while Pippa, Henry, and Dougal had their first taste of being outdoors for the first time! Miss Snow White was as beautiful as can be in her pink carrier as she brought a lot of attention to her unique colored eyes and plush soft fur.

Although none of our kittens got adopted at our mini event, we still got a lot of attention and were able to hand out cards and pamphlets to people who were curious about our kittens. With future cat stroller events, we will be able to get the word out there about our adoptables available at PAWS. Overall, our parade was a success! Hope to see you at our next parade!

Our newest batch of kittens are Boo, Mojo, Midnight, Lily and Starlight. They were born May 22, 2012 and are a cuddly bunch that were raised in foster care and are very familiar with a loving human touch. They relax to our gentleness and caress us in return with their purrs and lazy eyelids. To have them in pairs would be a treat for they have a special bond and growing up with a sibling will keep them company while you’re away for the day. Stop by the ACF and see which little love bug you want to take home!

Liam and Poppy are our little twins that were born in early May. Liam is male and Poppy is female. They match in every single way except for their bellies – Liam has stripes and Poppy has spots. They’re very playful and will make you laugh at their antics! Once you get them purring, they will cuddle up with you and show you all the love they have to offer! Come by the ACF and see how these little ones will melt your heart!
