Kimmy, Our Loving Calico
Kimmy is our cute female DSH muted Calico that is about 1 or 2 years old. Poor little Kimmy was found at Tideland Park, crying for food, thin and dirty. With the care of the volunteers at the ACF, she was fed and loved and is now very healthy, loving, and is now looking for her forever home!
Being around people, Kimmy is very welcoming and affectionate with them. She will beckon you over to pet her on her highest cat shelf of the kitty towers in the community room, even if you’re on the other side of the window!
Though it seems that Kimmy hasn’t had a lot of experience with other cats , for she shies away from them with a frightened hiss when they first enter the room, she is still able to coexist with them. She likes to watch her feline roommates, trying to figure out what they are doing as they are playing. As young and intelligent as Kimmy is, we believe she will be able to figure out how to live with another cat.
Kimmy will make a perfect feline companion who will shower you with love and will bring joy to you and your home for many years to come! Come by the ACF and ask about Kimmy today!
Kimmy is taking visitors at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF), located at 1395 First Street in Coronado with hours of operation between 9 AM and 4 PM every day but major holidays. Winter, Our Handsome Fellow
Winter is our handsome, 5 month old Maine Coon kitten. He is the son of Cider and the brother to his sweet sister, Coco. Winter and Coco were both surprises to the good Samaritans who were feeding their mom.
Though they could not take the cats in for thier own- for they already had indoor cats- the nice family helped Cider with her kittens until they were weaned and were ready for a home of their own. The nice family brought all three cats to the ACF.
Winter’s name suites him very well for he is all white with a small hint of blue on the top of his head. The three also make a great family unit together. Cider and Winter are protective of Coco, for she is a little shy.
Winter is very playful and is gaining confidence everyday; he is learning to love interactions with people. He is a very sweet kitten who needs a cat savvy adopter who would be willing to continue the socialization process.
You can meet Winter at the ACF (Animal Care Facility) located at 1395 First Street in Coronado with hours of operation between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm everyday but major holidays. The Kensington Kittens
These five little ones are the Kensington Kittens. At just 2 weeks old, they were tied and tossed in a trash bag and put into the dumpster. A woman walking by heard their cries and rescued them. She took them to the Humane Society, but they had no resources to bottle feed these babies.
The woman turned to PAWS and was able to give these precious babies to one of our Itty Bitty Kitty volunteers who was able to take care and foster them. Being in the volunteer’s care, she bottle fed them and taught them things their momma cat would have taught. She also socialized them to be used to the human touch. Now these little babies are ready to be adopted!
The three girls are Phoebe, Lark, and Sparrow. And the two boys are Budgie and Tananger. All of these little ones have been spayed and neutered, dewormed and are up to date on their shots. For just $50.00, these little ones would love to be adopted for the holidays!

Ali, Our Little Sweetheart
Ali is our little sweetheart that loves to be a lap cat! She is a grey and white DSH kitten born mid July 2012 and is still young and as sweet as ever. Ali was found as a stray and was fostered shortly after to help build up her confidence around people and the new surroundings of a home environment.
Being fostered in a loving environment, this is what Ali’s foster mother had to say about her:
“Ali is a little sweetheart. She’s a bit shy at first, but will adjust to the situation. She loves playing and being cuddled, whether it’s with Foster Mom’s 8 & 5 year olds or the 2 cats that roam the house. She tolerates sniffs from the big, black Rottweiler, but her favorite spot seems to be on Foster Dad’s tummy watching (sleeping through) football or a movie. If you’re not careful, she might even steal a piece of popcorn.”
Ali’s copper rimmed eyes will captivate your attention as she gazes at you. Like looking at a piece of art, you will be left wondering how the arrangement of colors came to be.
This sweetheart of kitten will bring you joy and happiness for years to come, is she the one for you?

Luigi, A Kitten for Adoption
Luigi is a male kitten, born early July 2012. He’s a black Tabby with so much love to give, his name came easily. At three weeks old, he was found all alone at a Pizza Parlor on the Coronado Navy Base, where he immediately entered into his foster home. This lover boy is easy company and enjoys the companionship of other kitties who welcome him into their home. Luigi gets along with respectful dogs and his foster moms report him to be so kissable, it’s hard to put him down.
He’s a great kitty who is a perfect house guest and keeps us in stitches with his cuteness. If getting kisses from your feline friends makes you smile ear to ear, he’s the boy for the job. Luigi is passionate about his role to make you feel loved. Our goal is to adopt him straight from his foster family to yours. His foster moms will accommodate any interest in meeting him.
