Walkers’ Tales: Nelson A Dog for Adoption
Imagine walking around beautiful Coronado with your friend. You decide to sit on the beach for a moment to rest and take it all in. Your friend settles in close to your side and lays his head on your shoulder.
This recently happened to a volunteer taking Nelson, a two year old Labrador Rottweiler variety, out for a stroll. Another walker describes him as one of the most wonderful dogs she’s ever walked and details a scene including a mommy, two kids and Nelson all greeting each other with gentle pats and kisses. She likes to call him Sir Nelson for his charming ways.
Yet another walker writes that Nelson loves to plop down and roll in the grass on his walks. He is joyful, full of life and a sight to see.
On top of being so wonderful in so many ways, Sir Nelson is a handsome guy with tan and chocolate brown coloring. He can strike a regal pose that is show ring ready.
Come visit sweet, gentle and charming Nelson at the Coronado ACF, open daily from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
